OpenChannelFlow metering manholes are pre-engineered, corrosion-resistant structures that combine a primary flow device (flume or weir) with safe access and instrumentation mounting—delivered as a single, ready-to-install package. Each unit is designed to provide stable, repeatable open-channel measurements across wide flow ranges while simplifying installation and long-term maintenance.
Typical build options include fiberglass (FRP) or polymer concrete structures; traffic-rated covers; influent/effluent pipe adaptors; integral staff gauges; stilling wells; sensor brackets for ultrasonic/laser level; and sampler takeoff ports. Systems arrive factory-assembled with the primary device set to grade for accurate hydraulics from day one.
